Discuss freight rates and lanes as well as get updates on what is happening with freight volumes and supply and demand in trucking. Rico and Lasanya Muhammad own and operate Crescent Carriers LLC. He has worked in the Transportation industry since 1996. Rico began Crescent Carriers LLC with a desire to take personal responsibility of their future. Soon after delivering his first load under his own authority he realized how little information on freight rates were available and how this put not only his business in jeopardy but also every other Independent Carrier on the road. Rico and his wife Lasanya both received Master Broker Certifications in 2011 and began the endeavor to spread the information that Independent Carriers need to improve their bottom lines. They believe by helping others get the pertinent knowledge about the Freight Market it would improve the Transportation Industry overall. Rico and Lasanya have been married for over 18 years they have 4 daughters and one grandson. They live in Atlanta,Ga.
