Day 26 of 30 Days of SPECTRE!     Today we continue our JBR listener interviews to hear what they think about SPECTRE.    In the first of today’s shows we have the legend that is Mr. Rory Couper, the man responsible for securing Chris & Tom’s tickets to the SPECTRE red carpet premiere at the Royal Albert Hall.  

Day 25 of 30 Days of SPECTRE!   In our second listener interview of the day we have from London, Mr. Ian Coop, who like Blofeld himself has a shadowy connection to Tom’s past.

Well, not so much an extravaganza and more an in depth discussion of Thomas Newman’s second go at a Bond score.    We play some tunes, compare SPECTRE to Skyfall and see how it compares to previous efforts by John Barry and David Arnold. 

Day 18 of 30 Days of SPECTRE!   Today we’re talking all about the climax to SPECTRE. From the Mi6 Headquarters showdown between Bond and Blofeld, to Madeleine’s rescue to taking down Ernst’s chopper, we take it apart piece by piece.   As a key part of the movie that divides fans quite dramatically we discuss any potential improvements, alternate endings and sprinkle in a little bit of Bond 25 SPECTRE-lation!

Day 17 of 30 Days of SPECTRE!   Our coverage of the climax of SPECTRE continues with the action returning to London. As Bond hunts Blofeld among the ruins of the MI6 building, we discuss whether this was a fitting setting for their inevitable showdown.

Day 12 of 30 Days of SPECTRE!   OMG! OMG! OMG! The main man is finally back on our screens after an over 40 year absence. Today we take a look a long hard look at Bond’s arch nemesis, Ernst Stavro Blofeld.     This time played by Christoph Waltz we take a look at how he compares to previous portrayals by Donald Pleasance, Telly Savalas and Charles Gray and discuss where he fits in that rogue’s gallery of Blofi.

Day 11 of 30 Days of SPECTRE!   It’s time to talk Mr. White on James Bond Radio. First seen in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, Jesper Christensen returns in SPECTRE as the glue that ties those films together. Considering Mr. White was sent to kill Le Chiffre and was present at the Quantum opera house meeting we speculate on his potential position within SPECTRE itself. Could he have been Number 2?
