Today is all about nostalgic movies with nods to classic paintings. Kelsey and I will do two dives into our favorites: The most classic masked killer of all time has a face inspired by one of the most classic paintings of all time. In this episode, we will discuss the two most famous screams in pop culture--one by Edvard Munch, the other by Hollywood.   In this episode, listeners will: Follow how the face from a ghastly painting became the infamous face of slasher films Grant Wood’s American Gothic is iconic and has been parodied through the ages.
